Transformatter is driven by the passion to develop beautiful products along with their mesmerizing stories. We want to keep some of the amazing moments prior owners shared with the objects alive.
Each piece has their own uniqueness and carries their own history. We live in a fast-producing world where the origin and final destination of products are often left out. It’s almost impossible to know where your products come from. We want to change this!

We are Twenty-year-old Identical twins Bascha IJntema and Lente IJntema with a passion for design, creativity and sustainability.
Twenty-twenty was a year full of surprises for us. Most people remember that year as a disaster but for us it was the start of a new chapter in our lives...
We finished high school and decided to take a year off to travel the world… then Covid-19 came and everything was put on a hold.
Our dream has always been to start our own sustainable company and what better year than 2020. We were already fascinated by the environment from a young age.
So, combining our interests in design and sustainability brought us Transformatter. Our dream is to eventually inspire people worldwide and to spread the message. We still have a lot to learn and we are far from perfect, but we try and take a step into the right direction. Do you want to take the step with us?
